The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. The Weatherford FFA Team is a group of students who are leaders in the community focused on making a difference through agricultural education. 

The Friends of Weatherford FFA Booster Club support the Weatherford FFA Students through Scholarships, Livestock Add-Ons, Jacket Sponsorship, Ag Teacher Support and many other forms. Our main fundraising event, Weatherford Showdown Jackpot, is quickly approaching on April 13th-14th, 2024. Last year this event raised over $40,000 due to the kindness and generosity of our sponsors and attendees. This one event enabled us to make a huge impact in our community and in our ability to support FFA kids in the Weatherford School District.   

Our goal is to raise over $25,000 in sponsorships. These funds will be used to offset costs such as insurance, rental fees, livestock judges, prizes, food, and volunteer t-shirts. Most importantly we are looking to make the Weatherford Showdown a top Livestock Show in Texas to help raise additional funds so we can increase our Scholarships and continue to support the Weatherford FFA Chapter.
